Automation Engineer

We're currently seeking an Automation Engineer with Siemens equipment background to work for a major client, a global chemical company based in Katy. Job Duties: As a Siemens automation engineer, you will be at the forefront of our automation initiatives, responsible for developing and optimizing control systems using Siemens PLC technology. Resolve and repair all system faults and anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance, and connectivity problems, including changes, adjustments, and modifications to control code and standard operating parameters. Write and debug PLC Logic and makes recommendations for major corrective actions Perform root cause analysis of problems dealing with plant instrumentation and automation equipment to include but not limited to valves; pressure; temperature; level, flow, conductivity, speed, force instruments; motor controls; PLC's, HMI's, and other failed components. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant automation experience. 5 years of experience with Siemens PLC. Preferred additional experience with Allen Bradley, Fisher Roc, Automation Direct, ABB, SCADAPack, Redlion (i.e., PLC's, HMI's, drives, etc.)
