Audit Senior Position Overview The Audit Senior will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to clients. This position involves overseeing audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with professional standards while providing guidance and training to junior staff. Key Responsibilities Understand and analyze client's business operations to tailor audit approaches accordingly. Perform audit or review procedures effectively and efficiently, ensuring all relevant risks are evaluated and addressed. Review and assess financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. Document analytical procedures and findings to support audit conclusions and recommendations. Train and direct junior staff in audit procedures and methodologies, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain and enhance client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their needs. Supervise audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services. Exercise proficiency in technical skills to resolve complex accounting and auditing issues. Ensure work quality meets firm standards and regulatory requirements throughout the audit process. Plan audit assignments, allocating resources effectively and ensuring adherence to deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA License is required. Minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit and assurance services. Demonstrated understanding of GAAP, US GAAS, and PCAOB standards. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing financial information. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain client relationships and supervise staff.
