Job Opportunity: FCL Ocean Export Coordinator Location: Miami, FL (Office-Based) Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (Based on experience) About the Client: Our client is a leading freight forwarding company specializing in global logistics solutions. They are currently seeking an FCL Ocean Export Coordinator to join their Miami-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with freight forwarding experience to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage FCL (Full Container Load) Ocean Export shipments from start to finish. Handle all documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations. Work closely with carriers, vendors, and customers to schedule and track shipments. Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipment status, delays, or other updates. Negotiate rates and manage relationships with shipping lines and other service providers. Maintain and update shipment records in the company’s operating system. Handle AES filing and ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships. Key Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Ocean Export operations within the freight forwarding industry. Strong understanding of FCL shipping processes and international shipping regulations. Strong operational knowledge and ability to manage shipments A to Z. Proficiency with shipment documentation, including bills of lading and AES filing. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer interaction skills to build and maintain client relationships. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in industry-specific software; experience with CargoWise is a plus. Reefer experience is desired but not essential. Why Join? Work with an established and reputable freight forwarder.
