Job description Job Title : Board-Certified Endocrinologist Location : FE Medical Center of Miami Employment Type : Full-Time, On-Site Salary : $200-$250 an hour Job Summary : FE Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Endocrinologist to join our team. This on-site position involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, hormonal imbalances, and metabolic issues. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care and develop individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities : Patient Care : Perform comprehensive assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations focused on endocrine disorders. Diagnose, manage, and treat patients with conditions such as diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone diseases, and hormonal imbalances. Create tailored treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and ongoing monitoring. Procedural Expertise : Conduct and interpret specialized tests, such as hormone tests, imaging studies, and biopsies when necessary. Work closely with lab and diagnostic teams to ensure accurate results and proper follow-up care. Collaboration and Coordination : Coordinate with primary care physicians and specialists in other disciplines to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and planning to optimize patient outcomes. Patient Education and Counseling : Educate patients and their families on endocrine conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to manage or prevent chronic diseases. Provide counseling on preventive care, nutrition, and treatment adherence. Documentation and Compliance : Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations. Document all interactions, treatment plans, and test results for continuity of care and compliance. Continuing Medical Education : Stay updated on the latest research, treatments, and protocols in endocrinology. Participate in relevant workshops, seminars, and professional development to provide state-of-the-art care. Qualifications : Education : MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Certification : Board certification in Endocrinology. License : Valid and active medical license to practice in Florida Experience : Demonstrated experience in endocrinology, with a focus on diagnosing and treating complex endocrine disorders. Proficiency in interpreting lab results and managing chronic conditions like diabetes. Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration.
