Data Engineering & Integration Consultant We are currently seeking a Data Engineering & Integration Consultant for a client in the Philadelphia Area. Duration: 2-3 months initial term Location: Hybrid (2 days in Philadelphia is a MUST). Long-distance expense reimbursement not offered. Start Date: Immediate Possibility of extension based on project performance and client needs What You'll Do Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes and data integration solutions Lead the implementation of data analytics and visualization services using tools like PowerBI, Spotfire, and SAS Collaborate with IT and business functions to develop and maintain data-driven solutions Work hands-on with data integration tools and middleware platforms (AWS, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) Oversee managed service provider activities and vendor relationships Ensure adherence to data architecture policies, master data management practices, and corporate data standards Build and maintain technical documentation for data layer implementations Partner with data stewards to resolve data quality issues Implement new systems following established data management practices What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 12 years of progressive experience in technical data-oriented roles Strong expertise in data integration tools and ETL processes Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerBI, PowerApps, and data visualization tools Proven experience with cloud computing (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) technologies Knowledge of data warehouse and data lake technologies Experience with master data management and data modeling Understanding of API development and middleware platforms Exposure to statistical modeling and business process modeling Technical Skills ETL tools and middleware platforms (AWS/MuleSoft/Dell Boomi) Data visualization tools (PowerBI, Spotfire, SAP BO) Cloud computing platforms and architecture Data warehousing and data lake technologies API development Master data management tools Business intelligence platforms
