Planner

Our client, a French multinational company that specializes in digital automation and energy management, is looking to hire a Planner to join their team 100% ONSITE in El Paso, TX This begins as a 12-month contract with any opportunity to extend/convert Responsibilities Planning Work daily MRP exception messages Manage flow of material between supplier and plant Ensure materials are available for production Meet the targets on days of inventory Expedite Purchase Order with supplier Crisis shortage provide priority to the supplier Monthly review of vendor forecast Review Open order report with supplier Update in SAP purchase orders due dates Review and adjust MRP planning parameters such as safety stock, minimum lot sizes, rounding values, pallet quantities, lead times, lot sizing procedures, etc. Quarterly review of the replenishment strategy Kanban, ROP or MRP Interfaces with MPS Planners and Production Scheduler Follow up to SAP Planning order exceptions (past due, expedite, push out, cancel) Finished Good Production Scheduling Publish Daily Production Plan Follow up of Production orders status and barriers Review with kitting if they are having issues with material Review if orders are converted in SAP, if not need to start converting planned orders to production orders Requirements Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ERP / SAP, production scheduling, and inventory management Experience working with SAP desirable Strong Microsoft Excel skills Technical / analytical / problem-solving skills Solid background in materials management / methodology Adept at thinking on your feet, problem resolution, providing direction to multiple groups, resolving conflict, improving efficiencies, continuous improvement Downstream Flow Controller You will receive the following benefits: Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family Dental & Orthodontia Benefits Vision Benefits Health Savings Account (HSA) Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance Hospital Indemnity Insurance 401(k) including match Paid Sick Time Leave Legal and Identity Protection Plans Pre-tax Commuter Benefit 529 College Saver Plan Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.
