Associate Attorney Industry leading litigation firm with growth opportunities, looking for an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will be an organized, driven and energetic individual with experience in civil/consumer law, familiarity with Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Song-Beverly, B&P 17200 and employment law. This position will be reporting to Elizabeth L. Kolar, Esq. Job Duties Draft and argue law and motion Propound and respond to discovery Take and defend depositions Attend hearings, mediations and arbitrations Assist in trial preparation and attend trial with lead counsel Conduct research and analysis of legal issues Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients Advise clients on laws, rulings, and regulations Perform other duties assigned Qualifications License to practice law in the State of California required Knowledge of the following: general civil litigation, personal injury, premises liability defense, handling of credit and financing law in relation to consumers and reporting, employment law, consumer warranty law is a bonus Prior deposition, mediation, and arbitration experience Pay Scale: $115,000 - $175,000 per year based on experience Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) Matching, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off EEO Statement Kolar & Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
