Position Title: Sr. Administrative Assistant Location: Chantilly, VA (Primary) Type of Contract: Direct Openings: 2 Duration: Full-Time Employment (FTE) Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly Salary Range: $115,000 annually plus an additional $3,000 retention bonus Job Description The Sr. Administrative Assistant will provide critical support to various divisions under BPO/ODIR/MS, including executive office support and direct administrative assistance. The role will involve a broad range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities Provide evening office coverage until 1700 in the absence of the Executive Assistant. Deliver administrative and executive support, including editing communications, tracking awards, SharePoint administration, and recording/disseminating meeting minutes. Offer front desk coverage, handle correspondence, and provide customer service. Maintain and manage calendars, edit correspondence, and oversee task tracking. Draft, proofread, and coordinate key documents (instructions, presentations, spreadsheets). Develop briefing packages and analyze metrics for senior management. Maintain office efficiency, order supplies, coordinate office repairs, and plan events. Support BPO/ODIR during core business hours (0800-1700). Coordinate visitor access, parking, and catering requests. Manage TIER actions and attend related meetings. Administer databases, manage user accounts, and create detailed reports. Plan and execute events, conferences, and off-site meetings. Perform travel and training arrangements and related accounting tasks. Archive/retrieve classified documents per federal and NRO policy. Maintain BPO Records Management Plan and audit file structures. Recommend and implement innovative process improvements. Preferred Candidate Profile Ideally, candidates should currently support the NRO or have supported the NRO within the past 2 years. Next highest preference: Candidates with current experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), other than the NRO. Lowest preference: Candidates with DoD experience, due to the learning curve and longer clearance crossover times (DoD clearances take significantly longer to transfer). Job Requirements Required Qualifications Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience: Minimum of 7 years Desired Skills Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with NRO/IC/DoD structure, regulations, and policies. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of protocol, precedence, and records management practices. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Additional Information This position requires extensive knowledge of NRO/IC/DoD organizational structure, mission, and operating principles. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to anticipate and adapt to changing priorities while ensuring task completion efficiently and effectively.
