Manufacturing Controls Engineer Position Summary: As a Manufacturing Controls Engineer , you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems to ensure peak performance in our production processes. Manufacturing Controls Engineer Responsibilities: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, CNC machines, and other industrial control systems to support seamless production. Implement and integrate controls for manufacturing equipment to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving automation, system upgrades, and process improvements. Provide hands-on support for machinery, systems diagnostics, testing, and resolving operational challenges. Provide continuous improvement by providing innovative solutions to improve safety, reliability, and productivity while reducing costs and waste. Manufacturing Controls Engineer Requirements: Hands-on experience in industrial controls, CNC systems, and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar). Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, HMI, and/or SCADA systems. Analytical mindset with a knack for troubleshooting and delivering innovative solutions. Strong problem solving acumen. Being a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field is preferred. Ability to work onsite in Rochester NY. Salary based on experience $70,000 - $100,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits offering.
