Senior Software Engineer

Our client in the optical measurement systems industry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the software development team supporting various functional areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for software development, and experience in control or data acquisition systems.

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

What's the Job?

• Develop complex control software for optical measurement systems with stringent performance requirements in a multi-disciplinary team

• Support all software development phases for specific subcomponents and functional areas from path finding to field deployment

• Responsible for software design, implementation, code quality, unit test development, simulator and system testing

• Collaborate with other subject matter experts to continuously improve system reliability, fault detection, and performance

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related fields

• Proficiency in C# development with Visual Studio

• Experience with WPF, WinForms or WCF desired

• 5 years of experience developing software for control or data acquisition systems

• Working knowledge of light sources, cameras, image processing, motion control and optimization algorithms
