The Job
The San Bernardino County Fire Protection Districtis recruiting for a Management Analystto perform complex financial data collection and analysis to assist management in developing business operations and strategies to achieve overall business goals and continuous improvement in County Fire safety services throughout the County.
Additional duties include:
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Travel: Travel within and outside the County may be required. A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be provided at time of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Background: A successful background check is required prior to assignment.

Minimum Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, statistics, finance or accounting, or other relevant field of study.

Experience: Must meet one of the following options:
Option 1: Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, investigative, or technical experience with statistical analysis, research design, data collection, combining and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data sets, and refining analysis to both policy audiences and practitioners.
Option 2: Three (3) years of professional level administrative experience primarily performing analytical duties in a combination of areas that include: budget/fiscal management, budgetary forecasting, financial analysis and/or accounting. Experience must include conducting financial studies, data analysis, or statistical analysis.

The Job
