Senior Product Owner

Job Description
Permanent Hire - Hybrid Position.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the development and evolution of their flagship product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, a deep understanding of user-centered design, and the ability to balance business objectives with technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product vision and roadmap, aligning it with company strategy and market needs
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and user impact
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including customers, to gather and refine product requirements
• Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product updates effectively

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technology environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, ProductPlan)

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with data analytics and A/B testing methodologies
• Understanding of UX design principles and prototyping tools
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI/ML and their product applications
• Experience with API-first product development
• Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager)
