Talascend is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic for a contract opportunity located in Greenville, SC.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
- F-16 Production line structures and assembly. Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components.
- Heavy Precision drilling, Countersinking, and reaming precision holes.
- Most be actively drilling precision holes on aircraft!
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates need to understand this is hands on production work, climbing on fuselage parts, stands, kneeling, and on ladders/stands.
- Aircraft production structures experience.
- Sheet Metal
- Precision Drilling
- Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs
- Blueprint Reading
- Must be able to work any shift 1st Shift Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00amWeekend Shift- Thurs-Sun 6:00am-4:30pm
- Most likely be prepared to work off-shifts Second or weekends.
