Job Summary

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing various marketing projects that drive growth and profitability of products in retail and key showcase events throughout the year. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, key stakeholders, and retailers to develop tailored marketing initiatives that support brand awareness, consumer engagement, and sales performance. Key responsibilities include complete event /product showcase management, collaborating with sales teams to align marketing efforts in retail, and building Midea brand awareness. The Trade Marketing Manager will also partner with the Field Team Program. The role requires excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans to drive sales and brand visibility at retail.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events, including conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, product launches, and team-building activities.
  • Work with clients or internal stakeholders to understand event goals, budget constraints, and key requirements.
  • Completes RFP processes for selecting and contracting hotels, preparing budget estimates, and ensure all invoicing and expenses stay within budget.
  • Manages vendor relationships, coordinates event timelines, ensuring all necessary resources are in place.
  • Manages projects to ensure successful execution; makes changes as deemed appropriate to monitor progress and keep projects on schedule, and within budget.
  • Supervise on-site operations during events to ensure smooth execution, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Provides executive management with updates and summary, ensuring compliance with priority and timeline expectations.

  • Other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Key Skills & Qualifications

§ 3+ Years of experience in event planning, coordination, and management.

§ This role requires a dynamic individual who can blend creativity with strategic thinking to influence retail partnerships and drive business growth.

§ Ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest level of detail

§ Self-driven with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize workload

§ Excellent time management and organizational skills

§ Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies

§ Excellent written and oral communication skills

§ Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in a team environment and deal effectively with various levels of internal and external clients

Education / Experience

§ Three or more years of Project Management or related operations experience

§ Proficiency with Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related computer hardware and software

Physical Requirements

§ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use eyes, hands and fingers to handle, see, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms

§ The employee is frequently required to speak English and hear

Work Schedule and Travel Requirements

§ Monday - Friday

§ Some evening and weekend work may be required

§ Travel to team meetings may be required throughout the year

Salary range: 100k - 140k.
