Associate Supply Chain Analyst

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking an Associate Supply Chain Analyst that will provide support Supply Chain operational activities with a focus on analytics, process improvements, and transformational initiatives.

This position reports to the Process Optimization Manager but will primarily be responsible for supporting Supply Chain leadership and their teams. This role is also responsible for providing a high level of internal and external customer support. Keys to success in this position will be flexibility to work through new processes and areas of ambiguity, analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Supply Chain initiatives such as monthly forecasting, pricing analysis, spend analytics, and others as determined.
  • Provide support to consume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurements.
  • Develop and analyze Supply Chain and other organizational data.
  • Evaluate potential operational changes
  • Design new approaches and methodologies
  • Create visual representations of the data in consumable resources such as Excel or Power BI
  • Contribute in the effort to drive process improvements and improved business performance.
  • Review program data consistently and partner with cross functional teams (Finance, ITS, Operations, etc.) to provide corrective action to program data when necessary.
  • Learning and gaining knowledge of Supply Chain processes and systems.
  • Test and support the Oracle Cloud quarterly release process and ongoing system initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain standardized training reference guides and process mapping across Supply Chain teams.
  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, Visio) with a focus on Excel functionality across pivot tables, advanced formulas, V-Lookups, macros, and Power Query (preferred).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Developing skills in the following areas:
  • Problem solving - ability to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations
  • Critical and analytical thinking
  • Clear and concise written/oral communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Limited knowledge and experience within Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, and/or Order Management modules (preferred).
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics or related field preferred; or high school diploma or GED and 4 years of equivalent experience.

The base pay range for this role is $60,300 - $81,400. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
