Application Security Architect
Boston, MA - LOCAL CANDIDATES, FIRST PREFERENCE
Hybrid onsite 3 days (Tues-Thurs onsite)
6 months with possible extension

We are hiring for an experienced Senior Application Security Architect
Must have the following background - local candidates are considered first, but open to nearby relocations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in an application security role, with hands-on experience in security architecture and risk assessments.
• Must have strong expertise in securing container environments and managing container security - OpenShift, Podman, and Docker
• Must have experience with API management and security, especially with MuleSoft and Traceable.
• Proficiency in managing open source security and using tools such as NexusIQ.
• Experience with implementing Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) with Contrast Protect.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.

Nice to have: (NOT REQUIRED)
Banking/financial services experience

• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.) are highly desirable.
