We're seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Landscape Maintenance Sr. Account Manager to join our amazing team in Maltby, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Maintain consistent communication to ensure clients feel their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Property Oversight: Regularly visit and inspect properties to ensure they meet client standards and address any issues promptly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Enhancement Manager on open items and bid requests.
- Crew Management: Handle day-to-day scheduling, assignments, and performance management for maintenance crews.
- Training & Support: Equip crews with the necessary tools, training, and support to excel in their roles.
- Resource Management: Care for company property, including vehicles, equipment, and worksites, as if it were your own.
- Admin Coordination: Collaborate with the admin team to ensure paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
- Financial Oversight: Operate within budgets, track costs, and coordinate billing.
- Problem Solving: Work with the Director of Operations on workable solutions when challenges arise.
- Leadership: Mentor and coach crews, setting an example through reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
- Adaptability: Adjust to changing circumstances and client needs while maintaining a can-do attitude.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping or a degree/certification in landscape/ornamental horticulture.
- At least 3 years of experience in property management and irrigation repair/installation.
- Knowledge of Baseline systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of PNW plant identification, pest and disease control, and pruning techniques.
- Experience with bonsai, Japanese maples, and natural pruning techniques is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise crews of 3-12 people and manage on-site subcontractors.
- Knowledge of 2-cycle engines and landscaping equipment.
- WA State pesticide license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Valid WA State driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with strong safety knowledge for outdoor environments.
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Able to handle and move materials using hands, arms, and legs.
- Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods and differentiate between colors.
- Ability to work extended hours and in varying weather conditions.
