Job Overview:
A growing landscape management company seeks an experienced and passionate Senior Account Manager for Landscape Maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring industry expertise, a client-focused approach, and the ability to manage multiple landscape sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction and meet their needs.
- Site Oversight: Regularly inspect landscape sites to uphold client standards, address issues, and implement workable solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Enhancement Manager to address bid requests and collaborate on project needs.
- Crew Management: Oversee daily scheduling, assignments, and performance management of maintenance crews.
- Resource Management: Ensure crews have necessary resources, equipment, and training to complete tasks effectively.
- Asset Management: Monitor and maintain company property, including vehicles, equipment, and work sites.
- Administrative Support: Collaborate with the administrative team to complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Budget Oversight: Track costs, stay within budget, and consult the Director of Operations if deviations are necessary.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coach crews to meet client standards, demonstrating reliability and strong leadership.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changes and remain responsive to dynamic site requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in landscaping or a degree/certification in landscape/ornamental horticulture; 3+ years in property management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in irrigation repairs, installs, and troubleshooting; knowledge of Baseline systems is a plus.
- Plant Expertise: Familiar with PNW plant species, disease/pest identification, pruning techniques, and specimen plantings.
- Crew Leadership: Experienced in managing teams of 3-12 people; able to delegate tasks effectively.
- Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety protocols for outdoor environments.
- Licenses: WA State pesticide license (or ability to obtain within 90 days) and a clean WA drivers license.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills; bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
