The eCommerce Marketing Specialist must be detail-oriented, forward-thinking, proactive, and be attentive to upcoming timelines & deadlines. Must also be able to demonstrate strong creative ability as well as resourcefulness, independent judgement, and ability to work cross functionally with team members whether onsite or in remote positions.An ideal candidate has an eye for detail, excellent project management skills, can take projects from approved concept to completion with minimal oversight, and thrives in a dynamic and collaborative fast-paced environment.This is a remote position available to qualified candidates that currently reside in the continental United States.What you'll doPrimary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)Responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies to support eCommerce growth - including but not limited to content ideation, SEO/SEM, digital advertising and more.Works with marketing technology and/or external agency to develop company website(s) and/or eCommerce sites; has a deep understanding of web optimization and applies knowledge to drive SEO and ensures best-in-class customer experience.Manages digital advertising programs to grow ecommerce sales; continuously evaluates results, optimizes ROAS, and recommends prioritization of resources by channel.Directs all activities in support of brand advocate programs; utilizes retail partner programs to drive increased gross demand, PIP visits and conversions that meet or exceed customer defined metrics.Oversees social media program; works with agency regarding on-going development of content calendar, contents, influencer partnerships, and tracks performance and optimizes by platform.Monitors and responds to online rating and reviews on multiple eCommerce channels; mines online platforms for relevant voice of customer data and refines content accordingly; participates in product sampling and review syndication programs and monitors ROI.Develops and participates in customer-facing meetings and presentations.Mines and utilizes available quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources to analyze outcomes and to identify needed adjustments to strategies & tactics .Ensures projects are completed within budget in an efficient, economical manner.Collaborates with leadership, product management, brand management, sales, and other relevant functions within the organization to develop and meet organizational goals.Assists in the design and development of sales and marketing tools such as new product presentations, product assortment matrixes, sales catalogs, retail competitive shops, price sheets, photography, social media updates, carton graphics etc. in support of responsibilities related to assigned channel partners or other partners as deemed appropriate. Secondary AccountabilitiesADHOC projects as needed to support Marketing, Sales, Operations, Quality Assurance & Retailers.In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.Education / Experience: (an equivalent combination of education and experience required to successfully complete the primary accountabilities is indicated below)Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.5+ years experience in hands marketing, brand marketing or communications.A history of relevant marketing efforts supporting 1P/3P sales to prominent eCommerce channels such as Amazon, Walmart marketplace, or Wayfair required; relevant eCommerce marketing experience in support of Big Box, Mass Merchant, and/or direct to consumer sales via company eCommerce platforms preferred.Who we areLocated in Manhattan, Kansas, Florence Corporation is part of Gibraltar Industries' MAPS Division, along with Architectural Mailboxes® and Package Concierge®.
