Client is looking for a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual to support as a contractor, for an assignment as an Agile Coach. Our client is a Seattle based organization. An experienced and dynamic Agile Coach is required. The Agile Coach will play a crucial role in guiding teams through their Agile transformation journey, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, coupled with excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Transformation Leadership:
- Lead and support the organization in adopting Agile methodologies.
- Drive the Agile transformation strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to create a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and events, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Support teams in understanding and applying Agile principles and practices.
- Develop and deliver Agile training programs for teams and individuals.
- Ensure that team members and stakeholders are educated in Agile principles and practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and guide teams in implementing changes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
- Use metrics and feedback to assess the effectiveness of Agile practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and transparency.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from team members to executive leadership.
- Advocate for Agile values and principles throughout the organization.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach in a variety of environments and industries.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) and practical experience in their application.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt Agile principles to the specific needs of the organization.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are desirable.
- Bachelor s degree in a related field (Master s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile coaching or related roles.
- Experience leading Agile transformations in complex organizational environments.
