Client is looking for a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual to support as a contractor, for an assignment as an Agile Coach. Our client is a Seattle based organization. An experienced and dynamic Agile Coach is required. The Agile Coach will play a crucial role in guiding teams through their Agile transformation journey, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, coupled with excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Agile Transformation Leadership:

  • Lead and support the organization in adopting Agile methodologies.
  • Drive the Agile transformation strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
Team Coaching and Facilitation:
  • Provide coaching to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and events, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Support teams in understanding and applying Agile principles and practices.
Training and Education:
  • Develop and deliver Agile training programs for teams and individuals.
  • Ensure that team members and stakeholders are educated in Agile principles and practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and guide teams in implementing changes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
  • Use metrics and feedback to assess the effectiveness of Agile practices and make recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and transparency.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from team members to executive leadership.
  • Advocate for Agile values and principles throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach in a variety of environments and industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) and practical experience in their application.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt Agile principles to the specific needs of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are desirable.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field (Master s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile coaching or related roles.
  • Experience leading Agile transformations in complex organizational environments.
