Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Leadership & Brand Strategy Drive the creative direction for all brand campaigns, ensuring consistency across digital, print, and experiential channels. Lead the creation of innovative and visually compelling content, including graphics, videos, and event collateral. Mentor the marketing team to ensure deliverables meet brand standards and reflect industry trends. Develop forward-thinking strategies for product launches, market expansion, and customer engagement campaigns. Maintain deep knowledge of cannabis branding trends and regulations, ensuring all creative outputs are compliant.Campaign Development & Event Oversight Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, aligning visuals and messaging with strategic goals. Lead creative development for trade shows, retail activations, and product launches, ensuring a cohesive brand presence. Collaborate with the marketing team to manage event logistics, branded materials, and multimedia assets that enhance audience engagement.Team Collaboration & Leadership Provide creative direction and mentorship to the marketing team. Align with internal teams (sales, operations, and leadership) to ensure creative outputs support overall business objectives. Manage relationships with external creative agencies, freelancers, and vendors to expand the teams capabilities. Market Expansion & Cannabis Expertise Lead creative strategies to strengthen the brand in Illinois, Arizona, and future cannabis markets. Develop localized campaigns that resonate with regional audiences while maintaining brand consistency. Leverage knowledge of cannabis regulations to ensure campaigns are both compliant and impactful.Process Optimization & Project Management Establish and refine SOPs to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency. Conduct post-campaign reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in creative leadership roles, with a focus on branding and campaign execution. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana). Strong knowledge of cannabis industry branding, regulatory requirements, and consumer behavior. Proven track record in leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments. Expertise in digital marketing strategies, social media management, SEO, and experiential marketing. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Experience in regulated industries (e.g., cannabis, alcohol, pharmaceuticals) is strongly preferred.
