Its 580 judges and commissioners work in one of the 40 facilities within the Court's 12 judicial districts and are supported by more than 4,500 full-time Court employees. ABOUT THE POSITION
Court Services Assistant III directly serves the Court by performing court operations desk assignments requiring advanced knowledge of Court policies and practices and the application of legally established procedures and deadlines in the designated areas of the law including preparing and issuing writs and warrants, preparing and updating court calendars, reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy and rejecting incomplete documents, processing and issuing refunds and processing various complex and specialized court documents.

To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at time of application:Option I: Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent - AND - three years working in a business environment, including general administrative, clerical, and/or retail experience, providing customer service, cash handling, and utilizing basic computer skills - AND - United States citizenship.
Option II: An Associate's degree or equivalent number of units (60 semester or 90 quarter) from an accredited college - AND - one year of general administrative, clerical, and/or retail experience providing customer service, cash handling, and utilizing basic computer skills -AND - United States citizenship.
Note: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime

This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort, which may include occasional light lifting to a 10 pound limit, and some bending, stooping, or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved. .

Part II: Online examination, weighted 100% covering conscientious, composure, drive for success, service professionalism, following instructions, customer focus, proofreading, and reading comprehension. No person may complete this assessment more than once every 6 months.

Vacation - All permanent and other designated categories of employees are eligible to earn paid vacation based on years of service. Vacation time may not be used during the first 6 months of employment.
