Tournament and Event Coordinator Intern

The Jackson Rockabillys are seeking a spring semester intern for assisting with tournaments and events during the months of February - May. The Rockabillys are a member of the Prospect League in Jackson, TN, home to one of the top summer collegiate facilities in America. This is a great opportunity to enhance experience, resume and contacts.

The Rockabillys host several events from March to May including the SSAC tournament and the Black College World Series. Intern will serve as a administrative to tournament directors with duties to include but not limited:

• Assist with daily tournament activities as assigned by the General Manager
• Press Box and Media preparation (both digitally and print)
• Venue preparation, event set up and breakdown
• Clubhouse and Dugout prep
• Equipment inventory - merchandise inventory, event equipment
• Coaches Hospitality
• Assist in POS
• Provide top notch customer service to college coaches, teams, and fans
• Assist in the coordination of the events social media and marketing efforts

This is a stipend based position for college credit. A $600.00 stipend is paid at the completion of the season.
