We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The selected person would be responsible for total customer order administration for all assigned customers and will assist with sales generation process. Required Knowledge and Skills: 2 or more years of experience. Prior steel industry experience. Prior inside sales experience. Microsoft Office Suite experience; ideally, Word and Excel. Strong teamwork and relationship building skills. Excellent customer service skills. Superb detailed oriented. Primary Duties: Working knowledge of JSW products and operational procedures. Accurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, order expediting and status. Accurate breakdown and determination of incoming POs to ensure appropriate order parameters and procedures. Accurate Order Entry into order entry system. Administrate all order activity from entry through internal reviews and order shipment. Alert Sales Management on any customer issues or complaints. Respond in a timely fashion to customer requests for order status and any additional information required. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. Contact customers on order status and keep customer aware of any issues with order status. Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Build/Maintain customer relationships to provide repeat business. Communicate and work with inside team and outside sales as needed to ensure customer service and satisfaction. Work with outside sales in identifying and building prospective and current accounts. Communicate and work with operations as needed to provide customer service and satisfaction. Meet or exceed assigned sales and customer service goals. Follow company policies and procedures. Always present a friendly and professional image. Perform other duties as assigned. Education: Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
