Bid and Proposal Coordinator Location: DC Metro Area Fairfax Office Summary of Job Description AOC Solutions Inc., an SDVOSB, is seeking a Bid and Proposal Coordinator with 2-6 years of related experience in the federal government sector. This role involves all aspects of the capture process from market research ( via Deltek's GovWin, USA Spending, FPDS, Industry Days, intel, etc.), opportunity identification (via eBuy, Sam.Gov, GovWin, GovTribe, and intel ); through proposal creation, coordination and submission. This role is both autonomous and team-focused, and requires a proactive approach to managing and organizing business development activities. Travel may be required 1-3 times per year to assist BD leads, or Exhibit with the team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to grow with the company. What you will be doing: Capture Process Assistance: Assist in all aspects of the capture process, from opportunity identification through proposal delivery. Opportunity Research: Research, identify, and track business leads and federal opportunities using platforms like GovWin, GovTribe, Sam.Gov, FPDS, and eBuy. Proposal Support: Coordinate and assist with proposal development and reviews, which includes creating shells/outlines, gathering information from subject matter experts, researching customers, formatting, editing, compliance checks, submissions and after-action reviews. Process Improvement: Utilize current BD processes and improve upon, and/or add to them. Data Management: Gather and analyze data, pull external reports, and conduct research to support business development efforts. Collaboration: Work closely with business development teams to qualify opportunities and transition pursuits into active captures. Reporting and Organization: Manage and organize business development pipeline reports, communicate progress, track leads and opportunity forecasts. Event Participation: Attend industry days, conferences, and meet/greets to gather leads, promote the company, and report back to company stakeholders. Qualities and skills you need to have: Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working collaboratively across teams. Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of facilitating senior-level calls and presenting data via oral or written means. Time Management: Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Technical Proficiency: Experience using GovWin, Sam.Gov, FPDS and familiarity with managing pipeline reports. Education and Experience Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business, Administration, or a related field from an accredited university. Experience: 2-6 years of experience in business analysis, business management, or as a proposal administrator. Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen to qualify for clearance. Additional Skills: Must have knowledge and experience with GSA MAS schedules, GWACs, Sam.Gov, GovWin, doing business in the federal government space, and preferably knowledgable of Shipley methodology.
