Your Impact As a Business Development Representative based in our Tempe office, you'll be the catalyst for our company's expansion in the Arizona market. Through strategic prospecting and relationship building, you'll identify and qualify new business opportunities that drive our continued growth. Your success will directly impact our market presence and revenue generation in the region. Core Responsibilities Lead Generation & Qualification Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and opportunities Execute targeted outreach campaigns through cold calling, email, and networking Qualify prospects based on established criteria including budget, authority, and timeline Document all prospect interactions and maintain detailed records in CRM system Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities Business Development Activities Represent Delta Wye Electric at industry events and networking functions Research and analyze market trends and competitor activities Collaborate with marketing team on lead generation campaigns Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and referral sources Create and deliver compelling value propositions to prospects Sales Support & Coordination Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Account Managers Prepare preliminary client information packages for Account Management team Track and report on key performance metrics Participate in regular sales team meetings and strategy sessions Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reports Outcome Based Responsibilities Weekly Targets Complete 250 outbound calls to prospective clients Send 125 personalized emails to qualified prospects Conduct 2-3 in-person meetings with potential clients Add 50 new prospects to pipeline Convert 5 prospects to qualified leads Maintain detailed CRM records within 24 hours of all activities Monthly Targets Generate 20 qualified appointments for Account Management team Attend 4 networking events Maintain 25% conversion rate from prospect to qualified lead Achieve 95% data accuracy in CRM Position Requirements Qualifications 2 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong understanding of consultative sales approaches Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with CRM systems and sales technology Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must reside in Phoenix metropolitan area Working Details Location: Tempe, AZ office Travel: Regular local travel within Phoenix metro area Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday Reporting Structure Direct reporting to Arizona General Manager Daily interaction with Account Management team Weekly sales team meetings and pipeline reviews Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $60,000 Uncapped commission structure Comprehensive benefits package Professional development opportunities Company Commitment Delta Wye Electric is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in our workforce.
