As a Walmart Software Engineer, you'll lead through technical discovery, design, and implementation of large-scale applications, products, and platforms. You will report to the Manager of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities

Operate with a startup mentality, bringing new ideas to the table and inspiring those around you to do the same.
Identify areas of opportunity, determining solution designs and provide guidance to system and process enhancements.
Translate requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Tech Skills: Java, SQL and NoSQL, Service Oriented architecture, Cassandra, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Scala, Solr, Kafka, MemCache, Big data frameworks – Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Storm.
Tech Skills: JavaScript (React, Redux, Ember JS or Angular 1.x/2x), CSS3, HTML5, Restful API's, Node.JS, Scala, Ruby on Rails, Python or Java.
Mobile Engineering: You build UX focused android and iOS applications using OOP design principles to help millions of our customers and members.
You're comfortable working in an Agile environment, both collaboratively and independently.
You build meaningful relationships.
You use your knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and patterns) to create an outstanding user experience.
You align your work with meeting enterprise goals.
You have experience with React.
You have experience using languages or coding platforms such as Java, Springboot, Microservices, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML or CSS.
