Job Description Salary: Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and cybersecurity, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions on AWS. This role requires excellent technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Candidate

(green cards are not accepted) and able to obtain a public trust clearance. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop AWS cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the AWS platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud architecture strategies and roadmaps. Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and resource management. Provide guidance on AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, and Lambda. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Stay current with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends. Mentor and support team members in cloud technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of relevant IT and cybersecurity experience. Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or in a similar role. Strong understanding of cloud architecture and AWS services. Experience with cloud security best practices and frameworks. Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as AWS CLI, CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining strong communication with the team in Rosslyn, VA and Washington, DC. Skills: Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of network architecture and protocols.
