The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 7+ years of significant experience in commercial litigation, ideally with a focus on construction, infrastructure, and/or energy disputes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and highly regarded practice handling high-stakes matters in both domestic and international forums. Duties:
Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters, particularly within the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors. Represent clients in high-value disputes, including both courtroom litigation and international arbitration. Develop and execute strategic legal approaches, working closely with clients to drive case resolutions. Supervise and collaborate with junior associates and legal staff on various litigation matters. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Advise clients on risk management and litigation strategy in construction-related disputes. Ensure consistent communication with clients, maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction. Handle matters in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of legal work. Requirements:
5 to 7+ years of commercial litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on construction, infrastructure, or energy disputes. Experience in international arbitration is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead disputes teams and manage complex litigation. Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, with the ability to argue and present effectively. Strong client service orientation with a focus on building lasting relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple matters and teams simultaneously. Local bar admission is required. Foreign language proficiency is a plus. Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Outstanding academic credentials. Certifications:
Active bar membership in the state where the candidate will be practicing. Skills:
