Duties: Represent clients in courtroom hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic questioning Research complex factual and legal issues, collaborating with senior attorneys on case strategies Draft and review memoranda, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, and briefs Conduct examinations of records and transactions related to business disputes and investigations Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications efficiently Develop and implement strategies for resolving disputes favorably for clients Requirements: 2-6 years of experience in large, complex commercial litigation matters Admission to the New York State Bar or ability to waive in Proven ability to represent clients in various litigation settings, including court and arbitration Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal issues Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively High level of attention to detail and ability to absorb and understand new information rapidly Professional, cooperative, and positive attitude with a flexible approach to teamwork Ability to work well with diverse personalities at all levels of the organization Education: Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the New York State Bar (or ability to waive in) Skills: Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills Strong verbal communication abilities, including negotiation and client interaction Organizational and time-management skills to manage a heavy caseload Ability to analyze complex legal issues and work under pressure to meet deadlines Professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to high standards of performance Military experience is a plus Job Location: Ithaca, NY Company info BCG Attorney Search 125 Park Avenue, 25th floor New York New York United States 10017 Phone :
