Responsibilities

Program and set up CNC mills, specifically 5+ axis VMCs, using Fanuc controls. Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and quality in machined parts. Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-Code for efficient machining operations. Conduct equipment troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes. Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and modify machining programs. Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and techniques. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all machining operations. Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist, with a focus on 5+ axis VMCs. Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application in machining. Proficiency in G-Code programming and CNC tooling. Experience with troubleshooting CNC machines and resolving technical issues. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming and design. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
