Lab Operations Intern We are seeking sophomore, junior, master, PhD-level students and graduates majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related fields for a 12-week student intern role in Rockville, MD for a January – March contract period. The internship period may be extended upon mutual agreement after the initial contract ends. About Kaigene Kaigene was founded in 2022 in North Bethesda. We are a start-up company dedicated to the discovery and development of innovative medicines that utilize antibody-based technologies. Our mission is to create optimal biotherapeutics for patients with autoimmune diseases. Position Duties Assist in the preparation and execution of cell culture and antibody purification. Perform routine laboratory tasks such as reagent preparation, sample handling, and equipment maintenance. Perform assay experiments including SDS-PAGE, spectrophotometry, and ELISA. Support general lab organization, including inventory management. Requirements Sophomore, junior, master, PhD-level students and graduates majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related fields. Wet lab skills such as cell cultures, ELISA, bacterial culturing, proper aseptic and pipetting techniques, molecular techniques (PCR, cloning, etc.). US Work Authorization is required at the time of application. Able to commute to Rockville site. Language: Fluent in Korean, and Professional working proficiency in English.
