Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Danbury, CT, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse range of complex civil litigation matters from case inception through trial. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation and trial advocacy and will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Duties: Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases from initial filing to trial. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis. Develop and implement legal strategies for case resolution. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Represent clients in court and during settlement negotiations. Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals. Maintain case files and ensure compliance with court procedures and deadlines. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the CT State Bar Association. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation. Proven experience in litigation and trial advocacy. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the CT State Bar Association. Skills: Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
