The Team & Function:

HOYA Vision Care is searching for an SAP FICO consultant to join our Global Financial Systems team. We are seeking a result-driven SAP FICO consultant to drive the deployment and enhancements of SAP FICO module for North America & LATAM. The FICO consultant will be part of the global team and collaborate with colleagues from EMEA & APAC regions and the Japan Corporate team. This candidate is result-driven and makes things happen by driving the design and implementation of best practice processes across SAP ECC and the future S/4 HANA by partnering with the Finance community to drive change.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Determine business needs and drive process improvements in SAP. Provide support on various requests around FI (AP, AR, GL, AA) and Controlling (CO). Knowledge of E2E processes of RTR/PTP/OTC. Carry out implementation of SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, AA), CO modules including design, configuration, data migration, testing until release, go-live preparation, and hypercare. Perform thorough documentation for the project implementation plan. Incident management, troubleshooting, identifying gaps, issues, and workaround solutions. Integration of SAP modules with different third-party applications (upload interfaces/ IDoc/ BI tools). Proactively identify issues, propose improvements, and solutions. Establish close collaboration and guidance with the Finance community. Provide training for end-users and key users.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

10-15 years SAP FICO experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Bank Management, Inter-company Accounting, Cost Center Accounting - functional knowledge and customization. Knowledge of other SAP modules like SD, MM, Basis, User authorizations, ABAP is a plus. Strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA. Experience with greenfield implementation and/or minimum 1 full life-cycle implementation of S/4 HANA. Comfortable working independently and is a self-starter who is energetic, enthusiastic, able/willing to actively engage and mentor the team. Has the ability to balance concurrent projects and manage multiple deliverables. A problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks.
