Position Overview: The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. Essential Functions: Position is in a fast-paced, dynamic environment near Colorado Springs at Schriever Space Force Base. Integrating JEMINI Lab test suites in our development lab. Assisting software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems. Creating and modifying scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data. Troubleshooting both test and prototype issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, and test documents as necessary. Automating scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts. Basic Qualifications: An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. 8 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field; 6 years' experience with a master's degree; or 12 years' experience in lieu of a degree. DoD 8140 certification at
IAT - Level II
or higher is required. Extremely proficient in Linux, scripting (bash, python). High-level understanding of automation and implementation. Highly proficient in troubleshooting methods. Working knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing. Experience in the integration of system components within a test environment. Familiarity with virtualized systems and security design and implementation. Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools. Previous experience as a SW Tester/Integrator. Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools. Preferred Qualifications: Script experience a plus. Experience developing scripts in Ansible. Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments. Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting. Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining databases. TS Clearance is desired. Salary Range:
$124,900 - $187,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
