Peraton is seeking a

Mobility Engineer

to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This individual is responsible for supporting the enterprise mobility environment, ensuring seamless integration and security of mobile devices and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Intune, Blackberry UEM, iOS, Android, and Microsoft Teams. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: Manage MDM (mobile device management) systems, deploy mobile apps, and ensure compliance with organizational security policies. Administer, configure, and maintain mobile device management systems, specifically Microsoft Intune and Blackberry UEM. Ensure the secure enrollment, management, and monitoring of mobile devices (iOS, Android, and Windows devices) across the organization. Enforce mobile security policies, including app deployment, remote wipe, device encryption, and access control. Troubleshoot and resolve mobile device management issues and escalations in a timely manner. Oversee the deployment and management of enterprise mobile applications via Microsoft Intune and other MDM solutions. Work closely with application teams to ensure proper integration of mobile apps with the MDM system. Ensure that mobile applications are properly secured, compliant with organizational policies, and regularly updated. Provide end-to-end support for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices, including device setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and support for end-users. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate mobile devices with enterprise applications and services, ensuring seamless functionality across platforms. Support the deployment of Microsoft Teams mobile clients, ensuring they are properly configured and optimized for mobile devices. Work with the collaboration tools team to troubleshoot and support Microsoft Teams on mobile devices, addressing issues related to connectivity, performance, and functionality. Ensure mobile devices comply with organizational security standards, including remote access, encryption, password policies, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Implement and enforce compliance controls for mobile devices and applications, ensuring adherence to corporate security policies and regulatory requirements. Regularly monitor device compliance and take necessary actions to address non-compliant devices. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation related to mobile device management policies, procedures, configurations, and issues. Provide regular reports on mobile device fleet status, security compliance, and troubleshooting resolutions. Provide training and support to end users regarding mobile device usage, security best practices, and troubleshooting steps. Assist with onboarding of new devices and provide guidance to users on mobile configurations. Collaborate with vendors for the management and troubleshooting of mobile devices and MDM solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mobile device management solutions, including new features in Microsoft Intune, Blackberry UEM, and mobile platforms. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree and 5 years' experience or Associate degree and 7 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years' experience. U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance. In-depth experience with iOS device management and configuration in a corporate environment. Proven expertise in administering and optimizing Microsoft Teams. Understanding of MDM/EMM technologies and mobile device ecosystems (iOS, Android). Expertise in mobile security, conditional access, and compliance policy management. Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation. ITIL Foundation Certification or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Microsoft Intune (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) or Blackberry UEM. Familiarity with MDM integration and the use of tools for device lifecycle management, including enrollment, updates, and decommissioning. Experience with mobile device automation or scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline device management processes. Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, as it relates to mobile security. Peraton Overview

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
