L.A. Care’s mission is to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low-income communities and residents. The Technical Project Analyst (TPA) II supports projects with Project Managers and/or business partners to ensure quality and completeness of a given task or project in the workplace. This position organizes, analyzes, and recommends solutions that meet regulatory and operational standards. The TPA provides small scale technical solutions to streamline operational processes. Duties
Critical evaluation of information gathered from multiple sources, data conflict reconciliation, and creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems. Providing complex metrics and project-related reporting support to all relevant stakeholders. Proactively identifying potential issues and driving resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement. Gather, analyze, verify, define, and document actionable Business Requirements. Engage all relevant participants during the requirement gathering work sessions. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Required
Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered. Education Preferred
Master's Degree Experience
Required:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Analyst or business process analyst working with computerized management systems and handling small to large projects. Must have Managed Care experience. Skills
Required: Thorough knowledge of Healthcare data elements required. Proficiency with process modeling, analysis, and simulation tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and think outside the box for solutions. Preferred:
Proficient with Process Improvement Methodology. Licenses/Certifications
