Data Platform Group Lead

monday.com is looking for a Data group lead to take a key leadership role in structuring our data organization vision and implementation. You’ll join our R&D department based in our headquarters, Tel Aviv, Israel.
The data organization is responsible for managing our primary business data and spearheading the data architecture for our R&D, addressing industry-leading scale and performance challenges across the board.
Challenges the team will encounter in the coming year include:
Developing the next generation of our main database engines to accommodate our expanding scale and diverse use cases (e.g. mondayDB). Designing and creating essential components of the company's core data platform to ensure scalability, comprehensive feature sets, and high performance in strategic areas. Expanding and developing the team to meet both current and future demands. Scale a development group - recruiting top talents, mentoring, building processes, engineering culture, etc. Managing multiple teams and mentoring managers. Be both a technical leader and people manager. Set clear expectations and context to create a positive work environment based on accountability and ownership. Building & leading monday.com’s architecture and horizontal services, ensuring our architecture supports our short and long term goals. Lead the research and adoption of new technologies. You will work closely with other groups in the R&D - to execute our technical roadmap and build amazing user experience. Our Stack- React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Go lang, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL, Kafka, Cassandra. Your Experience & Skills
Experience managing a group and leading architecture projects from start to finish. Ability to scale out teams and groups, nurturing talents, and high-paced hiring. Strong technical skills with passion for system architecture. Experienced with building complex large scale web applications. Experience with Micro Services architecture, Event Sourcing and modern frameworks is an advantage.
