The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance. How you will create an impact The DDI Solutions Architect will be responsible for DNS, DHCP and IPAM Network Infrastructures globally. This will include architecture / design, implementing and maintaining a large and complex global environment. Design and architecture of a global BlueCat DDI network infrastructure. Lead architect responsible for designing, developing, and managing a large and complex deployment of DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure to meet the organization's business needs. Responsible for managing address allocations and integrity of the data in the IPAM, ARIN, RIPE, APNIC and Domain Registrars. Recommend network improvements, including cost/benefit analysis, to meet changing business requirements. Development of service and technology standards across the network footprint. Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget. Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation. Develop and maintain standards and designs for DDI network infrastructure and global IP registrars. Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required. Work closely with senior management, and network engineering and operations teams. Enhance efficiency via automation when and wherever possible. Act as an escalation engineer for high severity network-related production issues, working with engineers and various vendors to identify tactical and strategic solutions. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience. 10+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale BlueCat DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM), project delivery with focus on performance optimization and scalability. BlueCat DDI Platform Certifications are required. Experience with Microsoft DDI and Open-source DDI (ISC BIND and ISC DNS, etc.). Experience implementing and managing DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC). Deep understanding of network architecture designs with in-depth knowledge of DNS, NTP, IPAM, BIND, and DHCP. Ability to interpret DNS query and DHCP lease metrics to identify trends, problems, and/or opportunities to optimize performance and/or enhance security. Knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms. Sharp troubleshooting faculties, deductive reasoning, and careful attention to detail. Independent and self-directed work ethic when participating in a collaborative environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Dedicated commitment to service availability and quality user experience. For positions based in Jersey City, the base salary range is $99,000-$143,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
