Position Summary: The Director of Information Technology has the responsibility of supporting, managing, and executing the IT infrastructure for an organization providing user support, systems maintenance and other projects as needed. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing business. This role is also responsible for Cybersecurity within the business. This role requires hands-on leadership, and technical expertise to ensure efficiency, security, and satisfaction for our client base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides leadership and direction to all IT staff and support vendors to achieve business objectives, including applications management/development, infrastructure, telecommunications, IT security, computer operations and support, program management, and architecture. Develop department strategy and organizational structure with a focus on continuous improvement. Effectively collaborates with other internal and external stakeholders on developing the strategies, plans, architectures and solutions to support business objectives and meet Cybersecurity requirements. Develops technical and leadership skills and capabilities of IT staff. Develops and maintains a culture of high performance, ethics, professionalism, and high employee satisfaction. Ensures that the IT organization delivers high quality services to internal and external stakeholders. Develops and manages a customer satisfaction program to measure and cost-effectively optimize satisfaction across customer business units. Oversees the effective IT integration strategy and implementation for business acquisitions. Leads IT risk management, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. As HIPAA Security Officer for the organization, responsible for the development and implementation of the Company's security policies and procedures, including those to prevent, detect, contain and correct security violations in addition to workforce security awareness and training programs; Manages the overall IT department budget to meet financial requirements, manage exceptions and new requirements, and manage risk. Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives. Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Other various duties as needed or as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field required. System's Integration experience required. IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification desired. 10 years of information technology experience with 5 to 7 years of experience in a leadership role. Experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls preferred. Experience with ERP programs and systems is preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage multiple functional areas. Demonstrated ability to develop talent, address staffing problems, and effectively manage change. Superior problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong internal business relationships. Strong working knowledge of enterprise-wide IT operations, systems, security and strategies. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of current and emerging computer technologies and industry trends. Ability to understand business needs, influence decisions and drive organizational change management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
