Today our businessserves over one thousand software companies and over 700K of theirend-software users with their payment solutions. The needs of these end-userscontinue to evolve and the role of Integrated Payments and Paymentfacilitators in this market is unfolding rapidly. We at Worldpay for Platformswill be the partner of choice for an expanded suite of Value-Added Serviceproduct that seamlessly extend from the existing Worldpay for Platformsexperience. What you'll own We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. You will play apivotal role in architecting, building, and scaling our platforminfrastructure, ensuring it remains robust, secure, and responsive tothe needs of our clients. Design, implement, and maintain microservices architecture withinKubernetes, leveraging Helm for package management and deployment consistency. Build and maintain tooling that empowers developers to streamline CI/CDprocesses, enabling efficient, end-to-end pipelines with GitHub Actions orsimilar. Ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance in highlytransactional compute environments, focusing on automation and operationalexcellence. Utilize Pulumi to define and manage infrastructure as code, enablingdynamic and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. What you bring Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, to manage andscale infrastructure Strong knowledge of container orchestration tools, including Kubernetesand Helm, for efficient deployment and scaling Hands-on experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, tomanage data in high volume applications Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Pulumi andTerraform, for managing and automating infrastructure deployments Experience working in high-transactional compute environments, ensuringperformance and reliability at scale Proficiency in at least one programming language; experience with C#,Python, and/or PHP is a plus Strong understanding of best practices in security, scalability, andhigh availability Desired Experience (not required): Previous experience working in a fintech or payments-focused environment Familiarity with cloud platforms or tools Passion for exploring new technologies and optimizing existing ones Worldpay perks - what we'll bring for you We know it's bigger than just your career.
