Principal Solutions Architect
with deep expertise in automotive infotainment, to lead our engagements with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and T1 suppliers in North America. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of automotive infotainment systems to guide customers in adopting, architecting, and implementing QNX Sound and other QNX products. You will utilize your leadership, communication skills, and technical expertise to help customers transition towards software-defined audio architectures. As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including signal processing scientists, infotainment SW development engineers, product and marketing managers, sales representatives, and ecosystem partner managers to drive adoption of audio solutions for our OEM customers. You will: Lead new business engagements with automotive OEM and T1 customers by proposing solutions based on QNX technologies. Analyze specific audio and infotainment requirements to guide internal teams to meet performance benchmarks. Help manage RFQs by structuring technical proposals in alignment with other teams. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QNX Sound and other infotainment middleware solutions. Assist with technology demonstrations and evaluation requests. Participate in industry panels, webinars & conferences as a subject matter expert in automotive audio. Foster strategic partner relationships that can develop into growth opportunities for QNX Sound. You will have: Significant experience architecting automotive infotainment systems at OEMs, focusing on audio and acoustics. In-depth knowledge of design and integration of automotive sound systems. Familiarity with automotive acoustics domains such as active noise control and media playback. Familiarity with sound processing protocols and automotive standards. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders. Relevant degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics Engineering, or related fields. Experience with QNX or other real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus.
