Dean, Nursing and Health Sciences The College of DuPage invites applications and nominations for the Dean, Nursing and Health Sciences. The Dean provides executive leadership, advocacy, vision and supervision, strategic and integrated planning, and oversight for all dimensions of Nursing and Health Sciences programs, contributing to the high-quality educational experience for the College’s diverse community members. The Dean is responsible for the Division's efficient and effective use of facilities and human and fiscal resources for the development and improvement of instructional programs. Through continuous improvement efforts and assessment activities, the Dean leads the strategic long-term planning for the Division. Strong interpersonal and group communication skills are necessary to foster a culture of support and operational excellence among full-time and adjunct faculty, department chairs, and staff across multiple health disciplines. The Dean manages a large Divisional budget, as well as federal and state grants. The Dean creates opportunities for growth, innovation and collaboration by establishing internal and external partnerships. Qualifications: A master’s degree in a health science discipline Demonstrated success in higher education administration Professional activities and applied experience in a health science field Teaching experience This is a full-time position that will be performed on site.
