The Position
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure & Loss Mitigation Attorney who is capable of handling appearance and related loss mitigation activities to join our growing team. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.
Responsibilities
Appear in Supreme, Surrogates and Federal Court to argue motions necessary for the successful completion of foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and other related default services matters.
Communicate with clients and investors to effectuate loss mitigation resolutions, where applicable.
Work with and oversee support staff.
Draft assigned documents which include, but are not limited to, settlement and release agreements, payoff and reinstatement letters, status letters and other related loss mitigation correspondence.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience handling foreclosure matters in Massachusetts. Connecticut a plus.
Applicants must be admitted in Massachusetts.
Superior organizational skills.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Leadership qualities, ability to manage support staff.
Eager to learn.
Independent worker.
Compensation/Benefits
