Java Dev w/ AWS
to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting-edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team and who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement, and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:
Designing Enterprise Solutions using Java, JEE, Spring Boot, and related Java Technology stack Work on Design Patterns Develop highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices Implement Java Spring Boot Work on DevOps Utilize AWS Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL Implement Industry Standard protocols related to API Security including OAuth Effective Client communication Qualifications:
Min. 06+ years of IT experience in implementing Java 8, J2EE, and related Java technologies Hands-on experience with AWS Hands-on experience with DevOps Experience in Design Patterns Experience in implementing Java Spring Boot Expertise in Java 8, Multithreading, Microservices Proficiency in Advanced SQL Exposure to AWS Cloud and integrations Strong hands-on experience with Spring core and Spring JPA Experience with GIT and Maven Familiarity with CI/CD - Jenkins Good written and verbal communication skills Familiar with Agile delivery process Must be analytical and self-motivated Work effectively within a global team environment Desired: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Applications will be accepted until 1/24/2024. Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K – $141,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Benefits:
