The Architect is responsible for the management of Enterprise Architecture across the Americas.
The primary responsibilities of the IT architect include:
Owns the technical architecture in assigned area of ownership (definition, documentation, roadmap for current and future state, annual)
Resolves technical issues in areas of ownership
Ensures that all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated
Defines the development tools and environment
Provides technical support and quality control through all stages of operations and projects
Plays key roles in the selection, evaluation and implementation of necessary vendors and technologies
Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Understands company needs to be able to define systems architecture and systems specifications
Understands present architecture and drive technological features that drive future architectures
Proposes practical strategies for leveraging technology as enablers for driving IT and Business value
Responsible for tracking the enterprise architecture portfolio and assists project teams to shape architectures consistent with platforms, roadmaps and standards for architect and design
Leads the planning and design of the structure of a technology solution
Communicates system requirements to development teams and supports development and implementation
Leads the evaluation and selection of appropriate software or hardware and integration methods
Leads assigned programs and provides guidance to team members
Owns leading and solving technical problems when they arise
Ensures the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure solutions
Owns addressing technical concerns, ideas and ongoing improvements
Monitors systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Leads, develops and implements plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical services and support
Ensures acceptable levels of performance for IT systems to meet business requirements
Creates and maintains technical and operational documentation
Stays current with technological developments in the marketplace, new advances and features in technologies
Ensures systems maintenance plans are developed, planned, executed, tracked and adhered to
Provides leadership in the change control process aligned with policies and procedures
Manages reporting in area, enforces adherence to IT departmental guidelines, policies, security, compliance and controls
Experience and Technical Skills
Required: SAP ABAP development experience for SAP-EWM (experience more than 3 years in EWM)
Need senior SAP ABAP development expertise in ABAP EWM development (total ABAP experience 8-12 years)
Experience in at least 2-3 implementation projects in EWM
Expertise in all areas of WRICEF development including Object oriented development
Data services, PPF framework, web services and CDS Views
Should use best practices for ABAP on HANA development
Good in RF application configuration and development (ITS Mobile)
Good understanding of integration aspects between SAP-ECC and S/4 HANA EWM
Good to have experience in Interfaces to integrate with 3rd party solutions
Good to have experience in Fiori development
Staying up to date with best practices, and industry trends to provide most effective technical solutions
Good team player and proactive in deliverables and expressing roadblocks
Strong written and oral communications skills
Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills
Prefer willing to relocate near one of the warehouse locations (Huntington Beach or Indianapolis). Travel will be minimum and on need basis based on project requirements; otherwise can work remotely.
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $151,390 and $195,916. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
