The Architect is responsible for the management of Enterprise Architecture across the Americas. The primary responsibilities of the IT architect include: Owns the technical architecture in assigned area of ownership (definition, documentation, roadmap for current and future state, annual) Resolves technical issues in areas of ownership Ensures that all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated Defines the development tools and environment Provides technical support and quality control through all stages of operations and projects Plays key roles in the selection, evaluation and implementation of necessary vendors and technologies Principal Accountabilities Understands company needs to define systems architecture and systems specifications Drives technological features for future architectures Proposes strategies for leveraging technology to drive IT and Business value Tracks enterprise architecture portfolio and assists project teams in shaping architectures Leads planning and design of technology solutions Communicates system requirements to development teams and supports implementation Evaluates and selects appropriate software or hardware and integration methods Leads programs, provides guidance to team members, and solves technical problems Ensures implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure solutions Monitors systems to meet user needs and business goals Facilitates delivery of technical services and support, maintains documentation Stays current with technological developments, ensures system maintenance plans Provides leadership in change control process and manages reporting Experience and Technical skills Required: SAP ABAP development experience for SAP-EWM (3+ years in EWM, 8-12 years total ABAP experience) Experience in at least 2-3 EWM implementation projects Expertise in WRICEF development, Object oriented development, Data services, PPF framework, web services, CDS Views Good practices for ABAP on HANA development, RF application configuration, integration with SAP-ECC and S/4 HANA EWM Experience in Interfaces to integrate with 3rd party solutions, Fiori development Up to date with best practices and industry trends, strong communication and teamwork skills Prefer willing to relocate near one of the warehouse locations (Huntington Beach or Indianapolis). Travel will be minimum and on need basis based on project requirements otherwise can work remotely. The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $151,390 and $195,916. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
