Description
The Sr Applications Manager, Workday will have overall ownership for the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of the Workday HCM and/or Finance system. This role will serve as a consultative partner to business and functional leaders, continuously improving service delivery and ensuring that client requirements are met through the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance.
As an Applications Manager, you will lead our application initiatives, driving strategic direction, implementation, and optimization within the healthcare IT landscape. Using your profound understanding of healthcare industry trends and technical background, you will lead an experienced team of application support professionals to provide excellent customer services in a complex healthcare environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Minimum Work Experience: 1 to 5 years experience in managing an application team or other IT teams. (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge: Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet strategic goals. Successful track record in applications implementation and as a manager. Expert knowledge of all applications within a business area; plus some knowledge of other applications. Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and healthcare software applications. Technical expertise in application development, integration, and deployment. Proven ability to translate organizational goals into actionable plans and initiatives. Exceptional leadership skills, fostering innovation and high performance. Effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Functional Accountabilities: Manages a team supporting enterprise applications, integration or interfaces. Develop and execute the strategic vision for applications within the healthcare IT landscape, aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with executive leadership, clinical staff, research, and IR teams to define application requirements and prioritize initiatives. Manage vendor relationships, monitor service-level agreements, and ensure successful deployment. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align application functionality with clinical and business priorities. Stay updated on healthcare IT trends, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and patient care enhancement. Primary Location:
