Conveniently located in the Woodinville Towne Center, the UW Medicine Primary Care at Woodinville Clinic offers a complete spectrum of primary care services, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, nutrition services, and sleep medicine. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine and stat laboratory tests utilizing automated or semi-automated equipment, kit assays, and microscopic evaluations. This includes the ability to understand, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot (may involve working with manufacturer’s customer service personnel) the applicable equipment and testing methods. Performs work accurately and precisely and can organize the workload to meet service demands, calmly, efficiently, and without direct supervision. Performs quality control analyses on all tests assigned and determines whether all parameters are within established ranges. Participates in training and demonstrating routine laboratory techniques to new employees in coordination with the CLT Lead. May send out letters to patients, as delegated by clinic leadership, with lab results or overdue reminder letters for appointments. REQUIREMENTS
Active Washington State MA-Phlebotomist Certification required High School / GED Minimum one-year relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting ABOUT UW MEDICINE PRIMARY CARE
