The Department of Pediatrics of Northwell Health – Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH)
is seeking a Board-Certified
Pediatric Gastroenterologist
to be the next Director of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. In addition to supporting the patient care, research, and education missions of SIUH, the Director will help lead the strategic planning and growth of the program. The ideal applicant for this position would have at least 5 years of experience with preference being given to those with previous leadership experience. The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at SIUH
includes a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses, dieticians and social workers. A comprehensive pediatric aerodigestive center featuring pediatric gastroenterology, pulmonology, and otolaryngology will open in 2025. The mission of the Division is to provide clinically excellent care to our community through a multi-specialty, cohesive team approach. Responsibilities: Lead the division and support patient care, research, and education missions. Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives for the program. Engage in resident education and mentorship. Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement projects. Minimum Requirements: Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology. At least 5 years of relevant experience. Previous leadership experience preferred. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
